BLS/CPR Course (American BLS)

CPR/BLS course covering adult, child, and infant procedures. The course includes choking protocols and the use of an AED. BLS stands for Basic Life Support and includes techniques used to save a victim in the case of an emergency. In this course, we will discuss and teach the steps that you should take to give a dying victim the greatest chance of survival. These techniques include Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.

This online BLS course is free. You have the option to purchase your BLS Certification after completing the online lessons. You will receive a printable certificate and signed wallet card mailed directly to you. The certification is optional and you do not have to pay anything to take the online class.
The FREE Online BLS/CPR Course covers:

  • The CPR Process
  • Hands-Only CPR Procedures
  • Updates and/or changes to the guidelines in 2019
  • Choking Techniques
  • Putting a Victim in the Recovery Position
  • Recent Changes in Life Support for 2019
  • The use of an AED

We will discuss conventional CPR (using breaths and chest compressions) as well as “Hands-Only CPR” as recommended by the latest guidelines. BLS certification options are available online after completing the lessons.
The free BLS Course will be available for as long as you need it. Once you have completed the lessons, you can choose to get your certificate online or simply take the training with you and be prepared in the event of an emergency.
The BLS/CPR Course covers conventional CPR techniques, Hands-Only CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), choking, and AED use. The course covers the techniques for adults, infants, and children. The course is administered online and uses a combination of written text, pictures, and video to illustrate the curriculum. After the course, an assessment quiz is administered to test the knowledge of the course material and you will receive your BLS certification online.
