El objetivo de este curso es inspirar a las mujeres que están en el mundo de la ciencia, la tecnología, la ingeniería y las matemáticas (STEM, siglas en inglés) a descubrir su espíritu emprendedor y adquirir herramientas prácticas para la creación y el crecimiento de compañías. Se propone hacerlo a través de 6 módulos de formación en las habilidades básicas de un emprendedor para inspirarse y animarse.

El Curso es parte del Programa WISE, cuya misión es promover la innovación a través de la creación de nuevos emprendimientos de base científico-tecnológica liderados por mujeres, quienes, por sus características, pueden ser factores claves para impulsar el proceso de transferencia tecnológica que tanto necesitan nuestros países.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Las Personas Emprendedoras Y El Proceso de Emprender
Este módulo te permitirá dar el primer paso del programa WISE, reflexionar sobre lo que significa ser una emprendedora, conocer cómo es el proceso emprendedor y cuáles son las capacidades que necesitarás, a nivel técnico y actitudinal, para enfrentar los retos generados por las nuevas tecnologías.

WEEK 2
Oportunidad, Generación de Valor Y Modelo de Negocio
En este módulo conocerás las implicancias de ser emprendedora y aprenderás las diferentes maneras de identificar oportunidades, así como a definir los elementos claves de un modelo de negocios para evaluar si una idea es una oportunidad para emprender. A partir de documentos explicativos, llevarás a cabo actividades para ejercitar los conceptos. Para el cierre trabajaremos en la construcción del modelo de negocios de un caso representativo y repasaremos particularidades del ecosistema emprendedor.

WEEK 3
Procesos de Innovación en STEM
En este Módulo experimentarás los beneficios de diseñar una solución que dé respuesta a oportunidades de negocio. Se centra en las necesidades de los potenciales clientes y en la importancia de encausar la creatividad a través de un proceso establecido con un equipo multidisciplinario y diverso. El modelo conceptual de base es “Design Thinking” y, luego de realizar el ejercicio, podrás recorrer sus conceptos y asociarlos con lo vivido en el ejercicio.

WEEK 4
Financiamiento de Start-Ups
En este módulo obtendrás herramientas para ponerle números a una idea (generar el flujo de fondos), evaluar si vale la pena el esfuerzo (analizar la inversión), reconocer las fuentes con las que contar al empezar un proyecto (identificar el tipo de inversores según la etapa del proyecto) y conocer las herramientas para gestionar los aspectos financieros del emprendimiento, una vez puesto en marcha (calcular indicadores de gestión financiera).

WEEK 5
Marketing Y Ventas
Este Módulo está enfocado a uno de los aspectos más desafiantes para los emprendimientos STEM, en términos de creencias y cultura: cómo desarrollar un plan comercial exitoso para el emprendimiento y diseñar una estrategia efectiva de ingreso al mercado. Este módulo te ayuda a responderte a las preguntas: ¿Qué contenido tiene mi plan comercial? ¿Cómo me conviene comunicar, promocionar y distribuir mi solución al mercado?

WEEK 6
Equipos, Liderazgo Y Capital Social
Para cerrar el curso, habiendo recorrido los aspectos técnicos esenciales para el desarrollo de un emprendimiento, en este último módulo trabajarás lo que consideramos el aspecto más crítico para el éxito emprendedor: la conformación de tu equipo y cómo liderarlo, junto con la construcción del capital social. El objetivo es lograr que tomes conciencia respecto a la importancia de conocer las propias fortalezas y debilidades, de forma tal que te permita armar un equipo que potencie las primeras y suplemente las segundas. Y también, cómo identificar el estilo de liderazgo adecuado para un equipo emprendedor, cómo construir capital social y gestionar el equilibrio vida personal - vida laboral.
