Royal Holloway, University of London

Queen Victoria presided over the grand opening of Royal Holloway on 30 June 1886.
Since then the College has continued to grow in size and status to become one of the top research-led institutions in the UK.
Today, Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, is regularly welcomed as a distinguished guest in her role as the present Chancellor of the University of London.
Royal Holloway was ranked first in the UK and fifth in the world for international outlook in the 2013 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
