Drawing fashion is now easier than ever! This 53-minute class with renowned fashion illustrator Danielle Meder will open up a whole new world of drawing the human form and give new meaning to "illustration style." By the end, you’ll be able to apply these concepts to your own work, infusing emotion into your illustrations and discovering confidence in your own style.

Through step-by-step videos, Danielle walks through the fundamentals:

  • Sketching your figure draft
  • Checking your proportions
  • Mastering the gesture line
  • Fleshing out your figure draft
  • Designing and coloring your outfit

Throughout the class, Danielle uses Paper and Pencil by FiftyThree, the iPad Pro, and the Apple Pencil, but you're welcome to use your tool of choice!

Whether you're just starting out with fashion illustration and want to practice your figure drawing, or you're eager to jump right into designing the outfit and adding color to the piece, I encourage you to get started right away and let whatever you're feeling pour out of the pencil.
Give yourself permission to make a bunch of bad sketches, and upload your progress to your Project Workspace as you go.
