Want to get started with sketching your own clothing designs, or learn to draw the human body? I demonstrate a simple method of creating a female figure using a photograph as reference. It can then be used as a template for fashion design or fashion illustration. This class is suitable for beginners.
I also show how to create additional poses from the same figure.
This is a good way to show diversity when presenting your collection, or simply to save in your croquis library for future use. Lastly, you will learn how to draw a walking runway figure- another pose commonly used in fashion illustration.
Materials needed:
Pencil (I use Prismacolor Regular & Verithin pencils)
Tracing paper
Masking tape
Eraser
Pencil sharpener
Project Description
