En este curso se analizan los conceptos y características de los factores de riesgo psicosocial que se presentan en ambientes organizacionales y pueden afectar la salud física y mental de los colaboradores, permitiendo con ello su identificación a través de métodos para su estudio.

De acuerdo con la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS): “la riqueza de las empresas depende de la salud de los trabajadores”. Por tanto, las condiciones de seguridad, salud y bienestar son temas que deben interesar no únicamente a las familias, sino también a las organizaciones, por su relación directa con la productividad, competitividad y sostenibilidad de las empresas.
Por ello, es necesario conocer cuáles son los fenómenos que pueden afectar la salud en el entorno laboral, identificando como factores de riesgo, aquellos elementos, fenómenos, ambientes y acciones humanas que tienen la capacidad de producir alteraciones en la salud de personas.
En este sentido, es importante reconocer los factores psicosociales en el trabajo que, de acuerdo con la OIT y la OMS comprende tanto condiciones internas (interacciones entre los colaboradores, el medio ambiente laboral, la satisfacción en el trabajo, las condiciones de su organización, entre otras), como externas (competencias del trabajador, sus necesidades, su cultura y su situación personal fuera del trabajo); elementos que en conjunto y derivado de las experiencias cotidianas en el ambiente laboral, pueden influir en la salud, el rendimiento y la satisfacción en el trabajo, afectando así la eficacia y productividad de la empresa.
Por tanto, en este curso, conocerás técnicas de investigación que permiten identificar los riesgos psicosociales que afectan la salud de los colaboradores, con la finalidad de obtener información objetiva que permita la toma de decisiones estratégicas para prevenir y promover ambientes organizacionales saludables que faciliten el alcance de las metas y objetivos de tu organización.
