KLOOC "Nachhaltige Entwicklung" (Sustainable Development) (TUK)

This open online course (KLOOC “Nachhaltige Entwicklung”) deals with Sustainable Development issues from various angles (Architecture, Business Studies, Economic Policy, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Landscape Planning, Social Sciences).

Angesichts der Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts wie der globalen Bevölkerungsentwicklung, der Ressourcenknappheit, der Chancenungleichheiten, der Wirtschafts- und Finanzkrisen, zunehmender Umweltbelastungen und ökologischer Krisen (z.B. Biodiversitätsverlust, Klimawandel) bietet das Leitbild „Nachhaltige Entwicklung″ einen Handlungsrahmen, um diese drängenden Probleme zu lösen. Was verbirgt sich hinter dem Konzept „Nachhaltiger Entwicklung″ und wie kann es in die Tat umgesetzt werden? Hierzu wird an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern schon lange in unterschiedlichen Fachdisziplinen an vielfältigen Problemstellungen geforscht und dazu gelehrt. Der KaisersLauterer Open Online Course (kurz: KLOOC) zeigt auf, welche Problemfelder im Kontext nachhaltiger Entwicklung existieren, an welchen Lösungskonzepten an der TU Kaiserslautern gearbeitet wird und wie jeder in seinem Lebens- und Arbeitsumfeld nachhaltiger agieren kann.
