Have you already tried everything, but keep having trouble getting the motivational juices flowing? This course looks broader than the traditional, more cliché, ways to motivate yourself. Inspired by Maslow's Hierachy of Needs, this new perspective also includes strategies that you can use when you are struggling with loneliness, fatigue, and other causes of lack of motivation.
This may be relevant especially for students who are struggling to get motivated during the quarantines now in place in many countries.
From the various tips, choose the ones that are most meaningful to your personal situation.
In end you'll create:
- A reflection diary with an evaluation of your experiences with at least one of the motivation strategies from the lessons. You apply one of the tactics for at least a week and document how it went daily.
Your class project is to implement at least one of the motivation strategies to your own situation. Document how the implementation of one of the tactics impacts your motivation levels. Do this on a daily basis.
Getting started
- Watch the classes and reflect on the cause of your demotivation.
- Choose an appropriate strategy to implement.
