Take a discarded or a used book and transform it into a one of a kind sketchbook for your artwork. You will learn: What to look for in a book; Where to find a book if you don't have one already; How to prepare the book; How to prepare the pages.

You will also see a few examples of completed pages for inspiration.
Supplies you will need:

  • Used book
  • Clear, white or black gesso
  • Discarded plastic gift or hotel key card
  • Water
  • Paper towel

Find a used book, prepare some pages with one of the gessos, and share images of your book in the project gallery.
Your prepared book pages can be with, or without any artwork.
