Este curso te brindará los conocimientos fundamentales para aprender a gestionar anticipadamente los eventos positivos y negativos que pueden afectar la ejecución de un proyecto de desarrollo.

A través de un caso de estudio, podrás aplicar las buenas prácticas de gestión de riesgos en un proyecto y realizarás ejercicios que te ayudarán a comprender conceptos y herramientas clave.
Este MOOC forma parte de la Especialización en diseño y gestión de proyectos de desarrollo que recoge el conocimiento y experiencia del BID en sus más de 60 años trabajando por mejorar la calidad de vida en América Latina y el Caribe, así como de buenas prácticas internacionales para la gestión de proyectos. What You Will Learn

Reconocer los fundamentos y beneficios de la metodología de la gestión de riesgos en proyectos de desarrollo
Reconocer los principales elementos del proceso de análisis de riesgos, evaluando la probabilidad de ocurrencia e impacto de estos para priorizarlos
Reconocer los principales elementos del proceso de monitoreo de riesgos para mejorar la eficiencia en la gestión del ciclo de vida del proyecto

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Módulo 1: Los Fundamentos de la gestión de los riesgos
Te damos la bienvenida al curso Gestión con enfoque de riesgos en proyectos de desarrollo. En este módulo te mostraremos los objetivos, estructura, evaluaciones y material de orientación del curso. Luego de esta introducción, desarrollaremos los fundamentos de la gestión de los riesgos en proyectos de desarrollo. Trabajaremos sobre los beneficios y factores de éxito así como también sobre la metodología para la elaboración del plan de gestión de riesgos.

WEEK 2
Módulo 2: Identificación y análisis de los riesgos potenciales del proyecto
En este módulo nos adentraremos, por un lado, en la metodología del proceso de de identificación de riesgos y, por otro lado, en la metodología de Análisis Cualitativo de riesgos.

WEEK 3
Módulo 3: Implementación y monitoreo de la respuesta a los riesgos
Este módulo del curso se enfoca en planificar e implementar la respuesta a los riesgos y monitorear los mismos en proyectos de desarrollo.

This course provides students with a set of tools and methodologies to plan and initiate a Problem Solving or Quality Improvement project. The first module presents methods for selecting, scoping and structuring a project before it is even initiated. It also introduces the project classifications of implementation and discovery. The second module describes the A3 problem solving methodology and the tool itself. Further in that same module, the student is shown tools to identify problems in flow, defects, and waste and to discover causes, brainstorm, and prioritize interventions. Module 3 shows a methodology within the implementation class. These methods are designed to overcome emotional and organizational barriers to translating evidence-based interventions into practice. The fourth and last module looks at one more way to approach improvement projects in the discovery class. These tools are specifically for new, out-of-the-box design thinking.
