Sand Dollars, shell and Sand, Easy watercolors. This piece was inspired by my summer travels to Prince Edward Island , Canada. This mini art workshop has been developed for beginners to stimulate creativity and discover new techniques. Using watercolour, a few techniques are discussed and practiced: wash rules, "wet on wet" and "wet on dry".
Project Description
Watercolor Painting: the following colors: Red, Yellow, brown, blue
Watercolor Brushes:
Round - 00 or 1 (optional)
Round - 4
Round - 14 or 12
Papers: Watercolor paper minimum of 300gsm/140lb
Other: Watercolor Palette
Masking Tape, e.g. "Painters Mate" or "Frog Tape"
Water Basin with 2 compartments or 2 small basins for water (ex: margarine containers)
Rigid Cardboard of size 14 x 16 inches,
STAEDTLER Mine Pencil: HB, 2B
Eraser
Kitchen sponge/ Scott towels/rag
Old tooth brush
