Thaleia Konstantinou

Thaleia Konstantinou is an Assistant Professor in the Chair Building Product Innovation. She has studied Architecture and Environmental Design and Engineering. In September 2014 she concluded her PhD research at the Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. The research developed a tool to support the decision making of energy upgrade strategies. Currently, her activities, related to research and education, focus on energy efficiency, circularity, façade design and building products, working on integrated approached for the decarbonisation of the built environment. Some projects that she actively participates are the research project "2ndSkin: zero-energy refurbishment module” and "Beyond the Current: user preference tested design solutions for energy-efficient housing renovation".
