Sam Smidt

Sam Smidt is currently Director of Student Learning experience in the Learning and Teaching Centre. She joined the OU in 1999 as a staff tutor in Science and has had a number of roles in the Science faculty since then.
She is particularly interested in the challenges new students face when they join The Open University and what steps the University can take to make the information as manageable as possible but also to support students as they establish themselves as members of the OU community.
