Peter James Stuckey

Peter Stuckey is a pioneer in constraint programming, involved from its very inception, a research field that has made it possible to solve some kinds of problems that were effectively unsolvable with previous technology. Peter’s main research interest is in developing technology for modelling and solving complex combinatorial optimization problems, and applying this technology to solve real-world complex problems. Other research interests include: programming languages (in particular program analysis); bioinformatics; visualization and layout; and databases.
