Najeem Lawal received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria, in 1998 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in electronics system design from the Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden in 2004 and 2009 respectively. His research interest is in machine vision systems. He is currently seeking design methods for efficient and low-power implementation of hardware and software components for autonomous real-time vision systems.
