Miia is a master student of Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University and Research. She specializes in ecotoxicology and aquatic ecology. With background of BSc Biology Miia has a long-lasting interest in ecology and quality of nature.
Miia grew up in the Finnish countryside, surrounded by wild nature. She is an advocate for connecting people to nature, bringing together academic knowledge on ecology and environmental systems and her experiences from traveling and exploring different cultures. In her free time Miia enjoys the outdoors and scuba diving.
