Marion Marigo

Marion is a Technical Specialist working on the Sixth National Reports to Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) project. For the past two years, she has been providing guidance to Parties on the implementation of their national biodiversity strategies and actions plans. Marion also supports the development of the UN Biodiversity Lab, a spatial data platform, and emphasizes the importance of using spatial data to improve the implementation of conservation plans at the national level. Marion is an expert on the linkages between gender mainstreaming and biodiversity conservation, a topic on which she co-wrote an online course.
