KK Tang

KK (Kam Ki) Tang is a Professor in Economics at the University of Queensland, and a research associate of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at the Australian National University (ANU). He received his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Hong Kong in 1989, and a Master’s degree and a PhD in Economics from ANU in 1995 and 2000, respectively. After finishing his undergraduate study, he worked for a financial newspaper before pursuing postgraduate studies. He had also worked briefly as an economic consultant before joining UQ.
KK has been a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2018. He teaches courses on macroeconomics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has received a number of School, Faculty and University teaching awards. He has also maintained a small research portfolio on the scholarship of teaching and learning.
