Giulia Mangiaracina

Giulia joined Institute of Continuing Education, University of Cambridge as a Course Director in Cognitive Psychology in 2020 from the University of Kent, where she taught Cognitive Psychology as an Associate Lecturer. Giulia completed a PhD in Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology at the University of Kent and previously worked as a researcher in Stockholm University and in the Department of Neuromotor Rehabilitation of Buccheri La Ferla Hospital (Palermo, IT). She is interested in embodiment theories of emotions’ recognition and social cognition. Giulia takes a research-embedded approach to teaching and she is a strong believer that learning stems from critical and creative thinking. During her teaching she gives priority to the development of a stimulating environment of learning, interest and curiosity.
