Andre Brandao has been a short term expert in the Fiscal Affairs Department, of the IMF since 2015. He is a career tax auditor at the Brazilian Tax Administration (RFB) and has held a number of positions at the national headquarters in Brasilia, Brazil for 15 years. His experience as a short-term expert includes technical assistance in tax and custom administrations, with focus on governance arrangements, reform design and implementation, tax operations, risk management , and project/process management. Mr. Brandao holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) as well as an MBA from Universidade Catolica do Salvador (Brazil).
