This class will show you how to setup the basic customisations and automations in order to manage your business, if you're a start-up or just curios how the CRM (Content Relationship Management) solutions work. Also, it will cover some basic Sales Cloud concepts and show you how to leverage them to be successful in bringing in new customers and managing your existing ones.
For the purposes of this demo I am using a free Salesforce Developer Org, which I talk about in the module called The Setup. Attached to the Class Project is a document containing the links to the Trailhead modules that I am referencing in this course.
Project Description
Create a dev org.
Create 1x new Roll Up Summary field on Account called "Won opportunities" that SUMs up all the won opportunities on the account.
Create 1x new Numbers field on Lead called "Age of the lead".
Create 1x new Text (255) field on Products called "Product Line".
Create 1x new Numbers field on Opportunities called "Number of stages skipped".
Create 4x reports showing the Account and the above newly created fields.
Crete a dashboard to house all those reports.
View the dashboard on your mobile using the Salesforce mobile application.
