Você aprenderá a fazer bons mapas conceituais, ou seja, mapas que representam com fidelidade o seu entendimento sobre o tema mapeado - revelando o que você sabe e o que você não sabe!
Além disso, você vai aprender a: avaliar um mapa conceitual, considerando a forma da sua rede e o conteúdo que ele apresenta, e usar mapas conceituais para facilitar a comunicação durante processos colaborativos.

Ao final do curso você será capaz de usar o mapeamento conceitual para representar, compartilhar e modelar conhecimento. Você se tornará um mapeador proficiente, apto para aprender e colaborar com a ajuda dos mapas conceituais.
Mas, por que isso é importante?
O conhecimento é cada vez mais valorizado na nossa sociedade. Ele é a "matéria-prima" fundamental para o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional que devem ocorrer por toda a vida.
Os mapas conceituais são organizadores gráficos que representam o conhecimento e nos ajudam a refletir sobre o nosso aprendizado e a colaborar de forma mais eficiente. Saber fazer bons mapas conceituais é condição indispensável para aproveitar esses benefícios.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Não é tudo a mesma coisa: mapas conceituais são diferentes!
Antes de mais nada, vamos ver como o curso está organizado para que você tire o maior proveito de tudo o que preparamos. Depois, eu vou te contar o que faz os mapas conceituais diferentes dos outros "esquemas" que você já utilizou para estudar e anotar coisas durante reuniões. As proposições são unidades semânticas que revelam o sentido existente na relação entre dois conceitos... e isso vai fazer uma grande diferença daqui para frente. Aguarde! Por fim, você vai colocar a mão na massa para fazer o seu primeiro mapa conceitual!

WEEK 2
Meu mapa ficou enorme. Como eu organizo ele?
Se ainda não aconteceu, vai acontecer em breve: você vai criar um mapa gigante! Eu vou aproveitar isso para te contar sobre a importância da clareza das proposições, da hierarquia conceitual e da pergunta focal para a organização dos mapas. Isso faz uma enorme diferença, principalmente quando você quer compartilhar seus mapas com outras pessoas. Você vai colocar tudo isso em prática gerando uma nova versão do seu mapa conceitual.

WEEK 3
Você é capaz de reconhecer um bom mapa?
Você só se torna um mapeador proficiente se souber reconhecer um bom mapa. É por isso que eu vou te convidar a avaliar os mapas conceituais feitos por outros cursistas. A gente aprende muito vendo os mapas de outras pessoas! Mas, para isso, eu vou te contar que os mapas são avaliados a partir da sua estrutura e do seu conteúdo. Explorar a estrutura é rápido, mas não diz muito sobre o que está escrito... e, por isso, a leitura das proposições do mapa é sempre muito reveladora - apesar de tomar mais tempo. Você vai praticar a avaliação por pares nesse módulo, a partir de um formulário que foi especialmente desenvolvido para essa finalidade.

WEEK 4
Vale a pena fazer mapas conceituais com outras pessoas?
A colaboração é o charme desse módulo! Primeiro, ela aparece na forma das respostas que o seu mapa conceitual recebeu de outros cursistas. Você vai começar a entender que o "olhar externo" é muito importante para nos ajudar a identificar os pontos fortes e fracos dos nossos mapas - dificilmente a gente consegue fazer isso tão bem sozinho. Essa primeira colaboração vai te permitir gerar uma nova versão revisada do seu mapa conceitual individual... que será importante para a produção do mapa conceitual colaborativo. Mas, antes de formar grupos e começar a trabalhar, eu vou te contar porque os mapas conceituais aumentam a eficiência de processos colaborativos. Como sempre, temos um pouco de teoria para te ajudar a colocar a mão na massa. Desta vez, você vai criar um mapa conceitual a várias mãos!

WEEK 5
Como melhorar o meu mapa colaborativo?
Dizem que tudo o que a gente gosta passa rápido. Pois é, já chegamos no último módulo do curso. Vamos aproveitar esse finalzinho para repetir a avaliação por pares - agora, usando os mapas conceituais colaborativos. Você já sabe como o "olhar externo" é valioso e, por isso, nós teremos uma nova chance de emitir e receber pareceres. Eu também vou te contar sobre novas formas de uso dos mapas conceituais, a partir de experiências que eu vi em pesquisas recentes. Para terminar, teremos a sua formatura com um convidado muito especial!
