How to Use the Machine Learning Cockpit for SAP Business ByDesign (openSAP)

Join this free online course to learn about the Machine Learning Cockpit for SAP Business ByDesign and how you can use it to create, train, and implement predictive scenarios end-to-end.

The Machine Learning Cockpit for SAP Business ByDesign is the implementation of a standard machine learning workflow within the SAP Business ByDesign user interface. The Machine Learning Cockpit brings predictive capabilities to SAP Business ByDesign by utilizing the power of the Predictive Analysis Library (PAL) within the SAP HANA database. The tool allows users to create predictive scenarios by using data from business analytics data sources, on which PAL machine learning algorithms try to learn the model in the training process. This model can be applied to new data to make actual predictions. The predictions can then be consumed directly in SAP Business ByDesign business documents, in business analytics, or in PDI solutions (through the provided API).

In this course, you’ll learn how to use the Machine Learning Cockpit within SAP Business ByDesign to create, train, and implement predictive scenarios end-to-end. After a short introduction, you’ll learn about machine learning essentials, the use of data sources, as well as configuration and authorization. The following units cover the three focus areas, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about scenarios, models, and predictions.
