The introduction of the new employee business partner model with SAP S/4HANA 2020 brings new functionalities and topics to consider in your projects. In this course we want to give you helpful insights from different perspectives, depending on your starting point. It doesn't repeat the basics of the business partner as a strategic master data object or its data model, as these topics were covered in previous courses.
This course is targeted at functional experts in employee master data. It addresses consultants working on both SAP S/4HANA system conversion and new implementation projects.
In the first units we will provide an overview of the new employee business partner model and explain the background and reasons for introducing it. In the following units you’ll learn about the structure of the new model, its features and use cases. We’ll also explain the external worker in the new employee business partner model. Unit five will focus on the SAP S/4HANA business user concept as a prerequisite for a business partner with the role of employee and the new employee business partner model. Finally, unit 6 will describe the different steps required to transition to the new employee business partner model, depending on the specific starting point.
