Debido a sus propiedades y estructura, son materiales con un gran potencial en la industria ya que pueden ser modificados y diseñados para diferentes aplicaciones y funcionalidades. Gracias a su gran versatilidad, los polímeros no solo se utilizan en aplicaciones cotidianas, sino que se aplican en sectores altamente tecnológicos como la aeronáutica, electrónica, deportes de competición, sector médico. Además, gracias a la modificación de materiales poliméricos, estos pueden ser aplicados y mejorados para aplicaciones que hasta la fecha eran impensables, ampliando en gran medida su abanico de posibilidades.

Prerequisites:
Los conocimientos que se recomiendan para un correcto seguimiento son los siguientes:

  • Fundamentos básicos de Ciencia de Materiales.
  • Fundamentos básicos de Química.
  • Conceptos básicos de propiedades físicas de los materiales.
  • Conceptos básicos sobre la ingeniería de materiales.

En este curso aprenderás y conocerás en mayor profundidad las maneras de obtener polímeros, sus estructuras y las posibilidades de estos a través de diversos métodos de modificación. Todo esto no solo desde un punto de vista técnico, sino desde un punto de vista práctico, muy enfocado a las posibilidades que este tipo de materiales pueden aportar.
