DIY Ceramics Studio: for kids & total beginners! (Skillshare)

New hobbies can be expensive and when you don't know if you like something or not it's hard to make the investment. In this course I'll show you how to set up a ceramics studio in the comfort of your home without having to buy a single ceramics tool. We'll raid the kitchen and bathroom to find tools that will get you started with this wonderful, tactile medium. The only thing you'll have to buy is some paperclay, earthenware or stoneware from a ceramics supply store.

This is not a class for an experienced ceramist. It is directed and someone who is completely new to clay and just wants to figure out if they like it and want to pursue it further. It's also great for children. I do offer more advanced classes for people who do have access to a kiln and wish to make more sophisticated pieces, this is not that class.
We'll make a coaster and a pinch pot as I show you how to use household items as ceramic tools. Then you'll be encouraged to transform that pinch pot into an animal or other type of sculpture. These projects are broken down into simple steps for absolute beginners and they're even great for children! If you have access to a kiln you can choose to fire them but most of the world doesn't have that luxury so I'll show you some at home solutions for bringing color to your creations.

Crochet Floral Wreath - Showy Decoration Whole Year Round! (Skillshare)

I carefully choose these patterns, because I wanted them to be not so obvious. So when you look at the result, not for sure you can make it just like that. It also took me a while to find out, how they are made, therefore I find them very exciting. The Irish Lace Crochet is especially close to my heart. This is a trend in crochet, which I find really special and it is pretty different, although using the very same stitches.
