This class is for absolute beginners with no idea where to start their crochet journey. This class will give you the know-how on yarn, hooks, and commonly used tools needed for a successful project. At the end we will create a starter kit that will prepare you for all crochet endeavors going forward.
Our class project is to create your own starter kit. You can use as much as you would from what you already have or buy it all fresh from your local craft store. You will need:
Worsted weight (#4) yarn in your favorite color
Size 5mm/H crochet hook (whichever type you prefer)
Pen and paper for notes
A darning or tapestry needle
Scissors
A container for your hook, needle, pen and scissors (e.g. pencil bag)
A current project container (should be large enough to hold your yarn)
