Este curso se desarrolló con el apoyo del Proyecto Empodera, implementado por La Fundación Suiza de Cooperación para el Desarrollo Técnico, Swisscontact, y cuenta con el auspicio de la Embajada de Suecia, como parte de sus acciones en la formación técnica para la prevención del riesgo de contagio de SARS-CoV-2 en el ambiente laboral.
Sin salud no se puede trabajar, pero también es cierto que trabajando se puede perder la salud.
El peligro de origen biológico está presente en todos los ámbitos laborales y sectores económicos y puede ser el causante del deterioro a la salud de los trabajadores. Esto influye en aumento de costos, baja productividad y ausentismo laboral.
Este curso te enseñará a identificar el peligro biológico, a definir e implementar medidas de control en tu entorno laboral para reducir la probabilidad de un daño a la salud.
Conoce sobre los protocolos de bioseguridad y prepara tu lugar de trabajo para un retorno seguro a labores posterior a COVID-19 tanto para los empleadoscomo para los clientes. De esta manera podrás minimizar la crisis que estágenerada actualmente.
Al terminar el curso podrás aplicar criterios de normativas internacionales y nacionales para la selección de equipo de protección personal y podrás aplicar la técnica correcta de colocación y retirada del equipo de protección personal ante la exposición al peligro de origen biológico.

Lección 1: Generalidades y cuadro clínico de la enfermedad por el nuevo coronavirus

  • Términos y definiciones sobre COVID-19
  • Requisitos para la gestión del riesgo de COVID-19
  • Puestos de trabajo más vulnerables al riesgo de contagio de enfermedades infecciosas
  • Recomendaciones de seguridad química para limpieza y desinfección de superficies ante el COVID-19
  • Importancia de la técnica correcta de lavado de manos ante el COVID-19

Lección 2: Normas de bioseguridad aplicadas a prevenir el COVID-19

  • Identificación de las normas de bioseguridad generales para la prevención del COVID-19
  • Implementación de un protocolo de medidas de prevención y actuación ante casos positivos COVID-19 en el entorno laboral
  • Preparación de los lugares de trabajo para el retorno a labores
  • Actividades de mitigación a nivel comunitario ante el COVID-19

LECCIÓN 3: Descripción y uso de equipo de bioseguridad en el trabajo

  • Jerarquía de las medidas de control para reducir el riesgo de contagio de COVID-19
  • Descripción general de las características de cada equipo de protección a utilizar ante la exposición de COVID-19
  • Normatividad del equipo de protección personal aprobado para la exposición a riesgo biológico
  • Establecer la forma correcta de utilizar y retirarse el equipo de protección en el lugar de trabajo
  • Disposición final de los desechos infecciosos

Lección 4: Monitoreo y evaluación de la aplicación y eficacia de las normas de bioseguridad y del equipo de protección personal

  • Elaborar un instrumento de verificación de uso de equipo de protección personal
  • Verificación de la eficacia e implementación de las medidas de control definidas para la exposición a COVID-19
  • Criterios de reincorporación laboral en colaboradores que padecieron COVID-19
  • Indicadores de vigilancia epidemiológica ante el COVID-19
