Autoridad, dirección y liderazgo (Coursera)

En este curso, identificarás las principales responsabilidades y actividades que realiza un directivo en cualquier nivel de mando. Revisarás ejemplos que reflejan la importancia del ejercicio del liderazgo resaltando el valor del manejo adecuado de la comunicación, toma de decisiones, motivación, delegación, supervisión y coordinación del equipo de trabajo. Por otra parte, reconocerás los diferentes estilos de liderazgo y como éstos deben ser utilizados dependiendo de las particularidades de cada situación.

WEEK 1
Habilidades Gerenciales para un Liderazgo Efectivo
En este módulo apreciaremos la importancia de ser un líder profesional, y comentaremos brevemente el Programa Especializado en Habilidades Gerenciales que hoy inicias.
La función directiva
En este módulo, reconocerás la importancia de la función directiva en las organizaciones. Ésta es parte fundamental de la administración de una institución pública o privada, cualquiera que sea su misión o giro.
WEEK 2
Ejercicio de la Autoridad y Naturaleza del Poder
En este módulo, discriminarás entre los líderes que actúan con un interés individualista para tener poder y dominar a los miembros de una organización y aquellos directivos que basan su desempeño en patrones más democráticos buscando que las organizaciones cumplan con los objetivos sociales para los que fueron construidas.
WEEK 3
Elementos y medios de la Dirección
En el presente módulo se describen los factores intrínsecos (elementos) a la función directiva. Éstos definen claramente las competencias que un directivo tiene que reunir. Las competencias son: autoridad, comunicación, decisión y coordinación. Asimismo, se describen los medios a través de los cuales la función directiva se realiza para el logro de los objetivos: delegación, motivación y supervisión.
WEEK 4
Importancia de la Elección del Estilo de Liderazgo
Este módulo presenta la definición y análisis del concepto de liderazgo, así como los cuatro estilos de liderazgo con base en el modelo de liderazgo situacional. Después de revisar la información, Lograrás identificar tu estilo de liderazgo predominante.
Perfil del Líder Efectivo
Este módulo revisa el inventario de las competencias necesarias para desempeñar un liderazgo efectivo en situaciones específicas en cualquier organización. En este módulo, identificarás los componentes del perfil del directivo (conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes).
WEEK 5
Programa Personal de Desarrollo Directivo
Finalizaremos nuestro curso con la integración de tu proyecto de cambio personal para desarrollar tus habilidades como líder profesional, que incluirá los plazos que tu mismo te propongas para realizarlo.
