Syllabus

WEEK 1
¿Qué es el aprendizaje?
Si bien los cerebros de los seres vivos son muy complejos, este módulo usa metáforas y analogías para ayudarte a simplificar las cosas. Descubrirás varios modos de pensar fundamentalmente diferentes y cómo puedes usar estos modos para mejorar tu aprendizaje. También conocerás una herramienta para ocuparte de la procrastinación, recibirás información práctica sobre la memoria y descubrirás perspectivas útiles sobre el aprendizaje y el sueño.

WEEK 2
Fragmentación
En este módulo, vamos a hablar de fragmentos. Los fragmentos son paquetes compactos de información a los que tu mente puede acceder fácilmente. Hablaremos sobre cómo puedes formar fragmentos, cómo puedes usarlos para mejorar tu comprensión y creatividad con el material, y cómo los fragmentos pueden ayudarte a tener un mejor rendimiento en las pruebas. También exploraremos las ilusiones de competencia en el aprendizaje, los desafíos de sobreaprender y las ventajas del intercalado.

WEEK 3
Procrastinación y memoria
En este módulo, hablamos de dos ideas íntimamente conectadas: la procrastinación y la memoria. Para generar fragmentos sólidos en la memoria de largo plazo (fragmentos a los que la memoria de corto plazo puede acceder fácilmente) se requiere tiempo. Por eso es tan importante aprender a manejar la procrastinación. Finalmente, hablamos sobre algunas de las mejores maneras de acceder a los sistemas de memoria de largo plazo más poderosos del cerebro.

WEEK 4
Renacimiento del aprendizaje y cómo liberar tu potencial
En este módulo vamos a hablar más sobre ideas y técnicas importantes que mejorarán tu capacidad de aprender. También descubrirás cómo interactuar mejor con otros estudiantes, cómo reconocer tus propias fortalezas y cómo evitar el “síndrome del impostor”. Los pilotos de combate y los cirujanos usan listas de comprobación para ayudarles con su tareas fundamentales... tú puedes usar una lista similar para prepararte para las evaluaciones. En definitiva, aprenderás más acerca del placer de vivir aprendiendo.
