STEM Teaching Program

Master different elements of STEM teaching - Assessment for Learning, Differentiating for Learning and Managing Behaviour for Learning - with this flexible program of online courses from the National STEM Learning Centre.
The STEM Teaching program is a suite of high-impact professional development courses designed for current or trainee STEM teachers in primary and secondary schools, and sixth form and further education colleges.
The three online courses in the program have been developed by the National STEM Learning Centre, to help you understand and use a variety of techniques more effectively - Assessment for Learning (AfL), Differentiating for Learning (DfL) and Managing Behaviour for Learning.
Accessible for free on desktop, tablet or mobile and delivered in bite-sized chunks, the courses provide a flexible way to fit learning into your busy week. And as they progress, you’ll be encouraged to try things out in your laboratory and classroom; actively reflect on what you discover; and share your experience as part of course discussions.
When you complete all three courses and upgrade on each, you will earn a FutureLearn Award as evidence of your continuing professional development (CPD).
