Dr Yifei Ren is a Research Fellow in Cisco Curtin Centre for Networks at Curtin University, specialising in wireless communication, software-defined networks, machine learning and IoT/embedded systems. He received his B.Eng.(Hons) and Ph.D. in telecommunication engineering from University of Wollongong in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Yifei supervises thesis projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as co-leading IIOT labs at Curtin University. His current research focus is on microservice scheduling in SDN based and machine learning techniques.
