Vitaliy Merkulov

Vitaliy Merkulov is Associate Professor and Head of Petroleum Industry Asset Management Department, Tomsk polytechnic University. He holds Geological Exploration engineering degree awarded by Tomsk Polytechnic University, and Candidate of Sciences degree in Geology.
Mr. Merkulov is Heriot-Watt Approved Teacher in Geosciences, Petrophysics and Formation Evaluation. He also teaches short courses in Formation Evaluation, Quicklook Well Log Analysis, Geophysics for Field Exploration.
Since 2004, Mr. Merkulov has been involved in multiple research activities, such as core study interpretation, well log analysis, integrated processing and interpretation of seismic and petrophysical data, building petrophysical and structural models of petroleum reservoirs.
