I'm a previous teacher, now lecturer, and I work with teachers and youth in schools. I'll be taking your through the content each week. Hope your ready for an interactive, engaging and fun time.
I am a pedagogical researcher interested in:
• Curriculum innovation and development through models-based practice and particularly the Cooperative Learning model
• Methods to facilitate longer-term pedagogical change, including my role as a boundary spanner, the use of participatory action research, the development of communities of practice, and the on-going professional learning and support afforded through social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter and You Tube)
• The pedagogical and professional use of emergent technologies in physical education and youth sport
