Tracey Farragher

Tracey is a Lecturer in Public Health Epidemiology with expertise in applying advanced epidemiological methods to routinely collected and cohort data. She is also course lead for the Individuals and Population ICU Year 2 MBChB.
Her research centres on how best to use routine data sources in two specific areas: to explore the influences of individuals/communities on the inequalities in health and wellbeing, and to evaluate interventions that seek to reduce these inequalities.
She was formerly a Senior Research Fellow at LIHS enabling NHS Leeds and Leeds Community Healthcare Trust to develop their applied health research capacity. Previously, she was a Lecturer in Medical Statistics at the University of Liverpool and a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester.
She held an MRC/Scottish Executive Health Department Training Fellowship in Health Services and Health of the Public Research at the University of Edinburgh.
