Tom Gregory

Dr. Tom Gregory is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Information Systems in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. In 2017, he and Professor Hillol Bala were appointed Directors of the Institute for Digital Enterprise at the Kelley school, where he works closely with Deloitte, Whirlpool, Salesforce, IBM, and other major corporate partners to strengthen relationships between industry, faculty, and students. Dr. Gregory teaches in the M.S. in Information Systems (MSIS) Program, the full-time MBA program, Kelley Direct MBA and MS programs, Kelley School of Business Executive Education programs, as well as undergraduate information systems courses. In addition to his academic work, he has taught leadership and decision making to adults and youth across the country, and is part of the team developing a national youth leadership syllabus for the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr. Gregory previously worked in industry as a software developer, development manager, and business analyst. He has shared his research nationally and internationally, and contributed to several open source projects. His interests include all aspects of software development—including agile methodologies, devops and data systems—organization design, the Internet, and cloud systems.
Dr. Gregory has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a MBA.
