Shlomo Engelson Argamon

A creative and dynamic researcher, consultant, maker, and mentor with over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning research and practice, Argamon is Professor of Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology. He is an internationally known expert on artificial intelligence, text analytics, and forensic linguistics, and a leader in data science education. He has developed text analytics methods for areas as diverse as intelligence analysis, forensic linguistics, biomedical informatics, and humanities scholarship, and published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles as well as two books. In his consulting work he helps organizations design and implement effective analytics strategies, as well as aiding criminal and civil investigations.
