Seppe Deckers

Seppe Deckers is emeritus professor at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, KU Leuven. His specialization is soil geography, land evaluation, soils in the tropics and soil classification. His research projects were focusing on soil suitability, sustainable land use and food security in the tropics. The last decennia, he was coordinating an inter-University partner program between Mekelle University and Flanders universities with as central theme: ‘Sustainable Livelihood’.
