Sebastian Buckup

He's a Director and former Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role he oversee the editorial design, development and delivery of the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in Davos and China. He is also a Visiting Professor in the International Organizations MBA Programme at the University of Geneva. Before the Forum, he gained experience with the ILO, the UNDP Office of Development Studies, as well as the private sector. His research interests include the social, economic, and geopolitical implications of globalization and technological change, as well as cross-sector responses to global challenges. He holds a PhD in economics from Witten/Herdecke University (Germany), and a Master in Politics of the World Economy from the London School of Economics.
