Samia Melhem

Samia Melhem is the Global lead on Digital Development at the World Bank’s Transport and ICT Global Practice. Her responsibilities include project management for investment operations advisory services, capacity building, and knowledge sharing. She has managed multiple digital government projects around the world (Rwanda, Egypt, Philippines, Burkina Faso and other countries) in digital transformation investment operations and has worked as integrator and coordinator of Africa and MNA portfolio. She has managed the production of global knowledge goods and toolkits on Digital government, electronic procurement, cloud computing, entrepreneurship and innovation, open data, open source, telecoms policy reform and gender inclusion.
