Rafael Ballester-Ripoll has been a tenure-track assistant professor at the School of Science and Technology (IE University) in the areas of data science and computer science since 2019. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich (UZH) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Ballester-Ripoll holds a Ph.D. in computer science from UZH as well as BSc. and MSc. degrees in mathematics and computer science from the Technical University of Catalonia-UPC.
