Pierre Semal is a full time professor at the Louvain School of Management (UCL, Belgium), since 1994.
He teaches Supply Chain Management and related subjects at master and executive levels, in many different countries: Germany, France, Finland, China, Russia, US…. His research interests are: performance evaluation and supply chain optimization.
He holds a master degree in Engineering (’79) and a PhD degree in Computer sciences (’92), both from Louvain. In 2012, he was awarded DHC from VMU, Lithuania. From 1979 till 1994, he served for Philips in research labs in Belgium and Germany.
