Michael Phillips

Professor Philips is a world leading expert on suicide research. He is the Director of the Suicide Research and Prevention Centre at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and Professor of Psychiatry and Global Health at Emory University School of Medicine. He has lived and worked in China for several decades and coordinates WHO mental health activities in China. He was recently made a member of the Order of Canada.
