Mario Gielen

Mario Gielen completed his PhD in Pedagogical Sciences at Ghent University, in which his research focused on the added value of peer assessment in Higher Education through instructional design. Currently, he works as educational advisor related to blended learning at Hasselt University. He is project leader of the first MOOC 'Transport systems and transport policy: An introduction', funded by UHasselt and IMOB in view of an educational innovation project. At the same time, he is responsible for the pedagogical component of this MOOC.
