Luise-Katharina Richter

Luise Richter works as an advisor on Ecosystem-based Adaptation for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ). Before she joined the Bonn-based GIZ Global Project on Mainstreaming EbA in 2019, Luise supported the implementation of the project ‘Strategic mainstreaming of Ecosystem-based Adaptation in Viet Nam’ for GIZ in Hanoi. She has a background in journalism and International Development Studies, as part of which she specialized in issues of environmental protection and climate change whilst studying in Denmark and Iceland. Conducting research in Bangladesh, Luise already worked on EbA as part of her academic career.
