Katie Gaertner

Katie Gaertner is a passionate instructor and data science practitioner. Her experience in data analysis, data science, and cloud computing includes work in the public and private sectors. She served as an Analyst for three Utah governors, and most recently worked in the financial industry as a Machine Learning Engineer leading cloud data strategy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics (Brigham Young University) and Masters in both Public Administration (University of Arizona) and Data Science (Northwestern University).
Beyond her passion for data, Katie also loves animals, pizza, travel, and most of all her husband and two busy boys.
