Katherine Downton

Katherine Downton leads a team of librarians who support and collaborate with the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). She has years of experience providing expert search services; participating on systematic review teams; and training students, faculty, and clinicians in searching for evidence. She also has past experience as an education coordinator in libraries and has served as a liaison to diverse fields in the health and social sciences and worked with students and faculty in the sciences. She received her M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
