Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor is known for his work in Gaussian random fields, which culminated in a book “Random Fields and Geometry” with Robert Adler (Springer, 2000). More recently he and his students have made a series of fundamental contributions to post-selection inference. Jonathan Taylor is an early Python adopter, and has created a number of publicly available packages. He is the author of the ISLP package that accompanies the course textbook and is used in the labs in this course. He received a Ph.D in Statistics from McGill University in 2001.
