Ioana Fleming

Dr. Fleming was born in Romania, where she earned her MD. She also holds MS and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins University. Her research combines computer vision & medical imaging, with applications in ultrasound elastography, thermal imaging & image-guided surgery. At University of Colorado Boulder, she is an Associate Teaching Professor and also holds the position of Chair of Undergraduate Education in the Computer Science Department.
