Gokce Basbug

Gokce Basbug is a Ph.D. student in the Institute for Work and Employment Research (IWER) at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Gokce’s research focuses on job searching and unemployment as well as hiring practices of firms. Gokce attended Istanbul University where he double majored in Philosophy and Psychology. He also holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Istanbul University. Gokce published his previous work on the challenges that employed and unemployed job seekers face in Personnel Psychology.
